From Lindsey, Australia, on her blog http://lindseysmostcompelling.tumblr.com/  .
"On our last day we took a brilliant walking tour organised through our hostel. Turns out it was Hannah’s first tour and I think she was pretty chuffed to end up with us; those who don’t care about pissing-down rain or dates and figures. She did a great job considering the rain was SO PERSISTANT and soggified her clipboarded notes. We wandered around San Telmo and then over to La Boca to see the colourful houses, the football stadium and a couple of art galleries. I didn’t take any photos partly due to the rain, partly for all the talking. I didn’t want to miss a word!
"It was such an awesome tour mainly because it didn’t feel like a tour - Hannah answered all our questions and told us heaps of stuff about actually living in Buenos Aires. She told us about the pollution in the river, getting mugged and someone getting stabbed outside her Boca flat over the results of a football game.

"Hannah is a Fine Arts student at a University in Buenos Aires, but didn’t go to school for her last semester - the building was taken over by the Socialst Party! How insane is that?! Neither Ned or I could understand how they would be allowed to do that, and why on earth the Socialists would take away a learning facility! Hannah partook in a peaceful protest, then a more forceful one, ending up with capsicum spray in her eyes and time in hospital. She said she’s going to keep out of it now and is hoping that classes resume as planned in March.

"It wasn’t all doom and gloom, not at all. Just refreshing to hear the truth about what’s real about a city as compared to what we see as tourists.  Especially after the afternoon in the cemetary looking at the “pretty” graves of the super rich. Our guide’s passion for the city was contagious, meaning the three hours we had together one of the highlight of our week in BA. I love this city and I’ll finish this post with what has become my catch-cry, I can’t wait to come back!

"At our first day in Buenos Aires we didn’t know where to start. Fortunately we got a recommendation from a girl at our hostel to go on a tour with Ana and it turned out to be a really good move. We even took another tour the next day! The tours (“the Boca” & in the city) were really interesting and Ana provided them with her own personal touch.  Our favorites were the visit at an artist´s home in the Boca area, just down by the harbor, and also being able to find small treasures; such as cd-stores with character, an old charmy library and good coffee stops that don’t cost you a fortune. We really recommend this tour if you want to get to know Buenos Aires from a different angle!"

"Hi Ana,
FUCKIN AWESOME tour today. I really enjoyed the balance you strike between politics, religion, culture (and counter culture), art, and history as they all seem to be intertwined when trying to sum up a city let alone a country. You have a talent for your job and your passion does not go unnoticed.

"Before I got to BA I didnt know where to start from since its such a big place... I heard about Easy riders from a friend who did it a few months ago and highly recommended it. I went on a one on one brilliant tour with Ana to Boca and San Telmo on my first day in BA. I found the tour very interesting, Ana planned the tour according to my interest areas which I found refreshing and made it feel like more than just a tour, it was a perfect combination of learning about the history of BA, meeting locals, enjoying the local food, shopping and culture. Highly recommended!!!

From Ayesha (LONDON):

"Hi Ana,

Thanks very much for the tour today. The tour was very interesting and it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope you have a good time on your trip in the nature, that you enjoy being disconnected from the world. Best of luck with everything.
